I've shipped the Elf and Dwarf since I first read the books as a kid - not really knowing that was what I did, of course. Who else sails into the sunset together?

I am glad I can still look at Unicorn and think it is ok, although I now see lots I could have done to improve the editing. The next one came later, and I am more pleased with that from an editing point of view.

I was very disappointed at the portrayal of Legolas and Gimli in the movie Two Towers. But I decided I had enough good Legolas and Gimli moments to be able to tell their story the way I saw it - the Elf and the Dwarf that overcame ancient hostility and distrust, and came to love a person of another race.

While I was waiting for the Pirates DVD to show up, I was watching a bunch of Depp movies. One day I was listening to Placebo and just heard the perfect song for vidding this movie. It is naturally marked by my lack of editing knowledge and experience back then, but I still love the song to the tragic story of Abberline and Godley.

Some of us tried to kickstart a slashfandom and fics where written, but it never caught on. Shame..

I ended up making one more vid at a later point, which is a more experimental editing wise and trying to capture more of the "supernatural" atmosphere.

I have always loved this R.E.M. album and suddenly one day this song was crying for an Abberline and Godley vid. It's trying to get the lookout from Abberlines rather confused and closed-up mind, as he struggles with the past and the lack of a future.

From the first glimpse of a You Tube trailer, it was "wow, finally a properly slashy Johnny Depp movie". Naturally, I thought the pairing of choice would be Jack/Will. Naturally I was quickly caught up in the amazingness that is Sparrington.

Second movie kind of killed my interest in the franchise, but I still read and love all Sparrington fic I come across.

I HAVE done a Jack/Will vid as well, and some more character study type vids.

A.k.a. The Education of William Turner jr...

This fandom is totally thanks to Internet. I heard of it through slash fandoms as one of the still evergreen classics but had never seen it. Then it came to a TV station near me, I started to watch and that was it.

Firstly I have to credit the MFU fandom here, which is amazing in so many ways and stimulated the interest in the first place. They have also been supportive in word and deed to a budding vidder, as you see on the right.

More vidding depended on TPTB getting this out on DVD. They finally did, and I will be vidding more here. To start with, I signed up for Festivids and to my delight was "forced" to finally make the MFU vid that has been brewing in my head for years. It focuses on later seasons.

 I have never gotten around to making a proper vid, but it is an old and enduring fandom for me. Mainly because whatever you would say about the TV-series and ::shudder:: some of the movies, it has some of the most amazing fanfic ever written. Particularly D/M fanfic are so consistently good that I can handle anything TPTB will throw at us.

This never came to a TV station near me. But I was sat down and fed a lot of Methos episodes by fellow slashers, and buying the DVD's was next.

This is not a vid, more like vignette. It's inspired by watching Methos episodes on DVD with fellow slashers, and by many stories using variations over this idea. And that Duncan and Methos are almost unbearably cute here...

British scifi comedy TV series. Like every TV series varying, but the good stuff is just outstanding and it is always funny.

Everything fans have to make up in other fandoms - here it is canon. Gender bender, male prenancy, you name it, RD has it.

I got hooked on this when it came to TV-station near me after having heard of it for some time. Ended up buying all the DVD's and doing a lot of vidding.

I have even done a fan-documentary based on the extra material.

This is an Austrian (German language) TV-series, entertaining and a must for dog lovers!

I liked the series, and in season 3 it has a serious turn for the slashy. I ended up being so obsessed with vidding it that I bought all first 6 seasons on DVD from an Australian web shop - the only place to get it.

I have actually found one fanfic for exactly this pairing (the human one), and keep living in hope that more will come some day.

We all need a hero. Rex is everyone's hero, but without his master he is lost and lonely.

I have had a lot of good feedback from people who never seen the TV series, so it seems to be entertaining even with no knowledge of the source material.

This is for those who do not know, a British cop-show of top quality. Not generally what I would consider slashy, but there was something about how the relationship Frost had with his first side-kick developed from mentor/filial to more grown up with mutual respect. And the end - well if you don't know I won't spoil the vid.

Again - DVD's had to be bought and the itch scratched.

This is also not exactly a fandom of sorts, but people seems to like the vid.

This is about a unique love for a unique person in ones life. You can see it as any kind of love you like, after all slashy is usually in the eyes of the beholder...

I have of course heard of the Grandfather Of All Slash Pairings since I came into fandom. Some of my favourite MFU and Highlander writers were doing TOS as well, but I resisted. The series had never been on TV here and from what little I've seen, I thought it was mainly a rather camp sixties thing.

Via the new movie I finally had to get TOS and watch it, and found out I was wrong. It was good solid science fiction entertainment with intelligence and humour.

And the slashyness just blows you away. Is this from the sixties? With all the slash following it has, the average MFU episode ends with Napoleon flirting with female of the day. The average TOS episode ends with Kirk flirting with Spock...
